A multilingual AI platform for education, employment, entrepreneurship, healthcare information and everyday digital services.
Who it serves
People in Afghanistan and the Afghan diaspora worldwide, in Dari, Pashto and Afghanistan's mother tongues.
Why it matters
Most AI tools barely understand Dari and Pashto, and almost none work well on weak connections. AfghanAI aims to give Afghans useful digital services in their own languages.
Progress so far
- Built and verified a private library of 329 pre-2021 Afghan school textbooks as the platform's educational foundation.
- Every file is checked by SHA-256, nothing is ever overwritten, and every change is rehearsed with a dry run first.
- A full catalogue (CSV and JSON) describes every book by language, grade and subject.
Next steps
- Create original, curriculum-aligned learning content based on the preserved curriculum.
- Design the first AfghanAI services around education, with Echo Tutor as the learning app.
